Billing
Payment Methods
Formul8 accepts credit cards via Stripe. All billing is handled securely through Stripe's payment infrastructure.
Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your sign-up date. You can view your billing history and download invoices from the Dashboard at users.formul8.ai.
Upgrading
Upgrades take effect immediately. When you upgrade mid-cycle, you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period. Your new tier's agents and features are available within seconds of upgrading.
Downgrading
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to your current tier's features until the period ends. Features specific to the higher tier become unavailable when the downgrade takes effect.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Dashboard. Access continues through the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier.
Invoices
Invoices are available for download from the Dashboard billing section. Each invoice includes a detailed breakdown of charges and is suitable for business expense reporting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I try the platform before subscribing? Yes. The Free tier requires no credit card and gives you access to 3 agents with 5 messages per conversation. This is sufficient to evaluate the platform's capabilities before committing to a paid plan.
Is there an annual billing option? Annual billing is available for Pro, Operator, and Team plans. Contact support@formul8.ai for annual pricing details.
What happens to my data if I downgrade? Your conversation history is preserved. However, conversations started with agents that are not available on your new tier cannot be continued with those agents. You retain read access to your history.
Can I add additional seats to the Team plan? Yes. The Team plan supports multi-seat access. Contact support@formul8.ai for seat pricing and configuration.
Are there discounts for social equity licensees? Formul8 supports social equity initiatives. Contact support@formul8.ai to discuss available programs.
What currency is billing in? All prices are in US Dollars (USD).
